Meet Dr. Shah

While dentistry is a large part of my life, I strongly believe that we each need to live multi-dimensional lives to grow a little bit more every day. Since I married my wife, Jahnvi, I have become a more whole human being. She has taught me about the footprint we leave in the world around us, and we have jointly begun our commitment to leaving the earth just a little bit better than when we found it.

I believe in touching each person that I meet in a way that leaves them a little happier than when I found them. And I hope that our patients feel that they leave a little more whole than when they entered.  I am committed to caring for our patients in a comprehensive manner, and I want to ensure they feel safe and well cared for while in our office.

Part of my week is also dedicated to teaching residents at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, where I received my dental residency training. I find that through teaching, I continue to improve myself. It is a privilege of a lifetime to be able to teach fresh, young minds. Their combined willingness and eagerness to learn is a constant reminder for me to always look for new and better ways to deliver high-quality dental care.

When I am not practicing dentistry, I spend my time hiking, trying to explore Brooklyn's nooks and crannies, playing tennis, or traveling the world.
